The International Conference on Technology and Persons with Disabilities, commonly known as the CSUN Conference, is the world’s largest event dedicated to exploring new ways technology can assist people with disabilities. California State University, Northridge has acted as a host of this conference since its inception.
For 40 years, the Center on Disabilities, through the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference, has provided an inclusive setting for researchers, practitioners, exhibitors, end users, speakers and other participants to share knowledge and best practices in the field of assistive technology. The conference which attracts even more than 5,000 people to Anaheim, CA, is known as a forum that showcases cutting edge technology and practical solutions that can be utilized to remove the barriers that prevent the full participation of persons with disabilities in educational, workplace and social settings. The conference is the largest of its kind in the world.
During this year’s conference (March 10-14, 2025, Anaheim, USA) we presented the AURA-Care system at the Harpo exhibition booth. It was an unforgettable adventure to present, among assistive technologies from all over the world, the innovative AURA-Care system, which is designed to assist healthcare professionals and elderly people in interacting with medics and to monitor their vital signs. We were met with interest from visitors to our booth and were able to tell a little more about the results of the project.
We invite you to follow the progress of the project. For more information, please visit https://www.aura-care.eu/.
